Privacy Policy

ArcanaX (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is an entertainment app providing AI-generated tarot readings, astrology/natal chart insights, coffee-cup readings, and related content. ArcanaX is operated by Faruk Furkan Tomu, an individual developer based in Turkiye. Contact: arcanaxapp@gmail.com.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and an account identifier from that provider. If you use the app as a guest, we generate an anonymous device-based guest token with no personal identifiers. Your token balance is associated with your account or guest token.

For astrology and natal chart features, we collect the birth data you enter: birth date, birth time (optional), and birth place, including the geographic coordinates of the place you select. If you use the camera or photo library for a coffee-cup reading or aura scan, the photo you provide is processed to generate your reading. If you use voice input, your speech is converted to text to process your request.

Purchases of tokens or subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, who share transaction identifiers with us so we can credit your account. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

We show ads, including rewarded ads that grant tokens, via Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choice, AdMob may use your advertising identifier and other device data to personalize ads. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form before any personalized ads are requested, in line with Google’s EU User Consent Policy. iOS users are also shown Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt where applicable.

If you enable notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver them (for example, daily readings or bond activity updates), which requires a device push token.

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. This includes device model, OS version, app version, and aggregated usage events.

If you create or join a “Bond” (a pairing with another user for compatibility readings), we store the connection between the two accounts or guest tokens so shared content can be generated.

Some app state and preferences are stored on your device only and are not transmitted to us except as described above.

We use the data above to generate the readings you request, operate your account or guest balance, process purchases, deliver notifications you’ve opted into, show ads (and credit rewarded-ad tokens), and to diagnose and fix issues.

You can manage ad personalization consent through the in-app consent form shown on launch (EEA/UK/Switzerland users) or Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS). Camera, microphone, photo library, and notification permissions are requested only when you use the related feature and can be revoked at any time from your device’s system settings.

You can request deletion from within the app (Account Settings, Delete Account). This sends a deletion request to our support team; once processed, we permanently delete your account data and notify you by email. You can also email us directly at arcanaxapp@gmail.com to request deletion.

Google (AdMob, Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics/Messaging, Google Sign-In), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, App Tracking Transparency), and our own backend infrastructure hosted on AWS. We do not sell your personal data.

ArcanaX is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
